Our raison d’être: Because some of us football fans are women who like to ogle women too, and prefer their eye-candy to be 1) not quite blatantly exploitative and 2) footballers, not WAGs.
What you’ll find here: No nude shots of models with their arse in the air and pouting at the camera, just honest-to-god women footballers who thrill us with their talent and gorgeousness. There’ll also be news posts on women’s football from around the world, allowing for free time and resources on the part of the blogger.
OMG! You’re excluding men! You misandrist!: Too damn bad. Nah, men are welcome, as are straight women, transgendered people and intersexed folks or androgynes who’re not down with binary gender identities. In other words, come one, come all.
All we’re saying is: Everyone is expected to recognise that this is a queer-friendly, women-friendly space and behave accordingly.
Posting frequency: Hopefully once a week, at least. It all depends on whether photo sources are readily available. News will be posted as they happen.
Who the hell are you?: lem is a football obsessive who is a fan of Chelsea FC, which gets her more than enough flak to laugh at. She spells her nick with a lower-case L because it confuses people.
