Comment Policy
This is a queer-friendly, women-friendly blog that does its best to practice non-discrimination on the basis of ethnicity, nationality, age, football club, etc. It is not the job of the blogger and commenters to teach homophobes, misogynists, racists, bigots and dickheads who write off women’s football how to be better people. If they’re truly interested in learning, as opposed to trolling the posts, they’ll damn well use Google to find sources of knowledge instead of whining about how oppressed they are, how omg gross dykes are, how women’s football sucks, etc.
So, in a nutshell: If you make a comment that is homophobic, misogynist, racist and/or bigoted, your arse is banned forever.
As always, in football, there’s bound to be arguments over the relative merits of one or more teams. It’s all good. People are not going to get banned over expressing opinions and disagreeing with others (see above for caveats), but ad hominem attacks are strongly discouraged, and if you feel that an argument is getting over-heated, for god’s sakes take it to e-mail.
